Details: Are you an experienced cyber security leader looking to shape the future of cyber resilience across ACT government?
Digital Canberra is seeking an experienced and strategic cyber security leader to join the ACT Cyber Security Centre (ACTCSC) as the Senior Director, Cyber Security Governance, Risk and Assurance. This senior leadership role provides a unique opportunity to influence whole-of-government cyber security outcomes and strengthen the security, resilience and trust of ACT Government digital services. As the Senior Director, you will lead the development and delivery of cyber security governance, risk and assurance functions across the ACT Government. Working closely with executives, business leaders and external partners, you will drive contemporary cyber security strategies, governance frameworks, risk management practices and assurance programs that support government priorities and respond to an evolving threat landscape.
We are looking for a collaborative and influential leader with demonstrated experience in cyber security, ICT security, governance, risk management and auditing. Strong stakeholder engagement, strategic thinking, analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex issues to executive audiences are essential.

The successful applicant must be an Australian citizen and hold, or be eligible to obtain and maintain, an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) security clearance.
Note: This is a temporary position available immediately until 26 February 2027, with the possibility of permanency.
Hybrid working arrangements (Winyu, work from home and other locations as required).
