About the Role
The Senior Stakeholder Engagement Officer supports Land Registry Services by delivering clear, timely communications and engagement with customers, industry, and internal stakeholders. The role develops engagement plans, manages change communications, and leads improvement initiatives. It collaborates across government and business areas to ensure accurate, consistent, customer-focused digital content and information sharing.
The role leads stakeholder engagement and communications planning for Land Registry Services, supporting operational, policy, and system changes. It delivers engagement activities, manages change communications, and ensures clear, timely messaging for diverse audiences. It also provides strategic advice, leads improvement initiatives, and strengthens cross-government relationships to support effective information sharing.

- Builds strong stakeholder relationships by understanding needs, organisational context, and shared priorities to achieve effective and mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Communicates with impact, delivering clear, credible, and engaging messages while confidently managing complex or sensitive discussions.
- Applies critical thinking and problem-solving to assess issues from multiple perspectives, prevent recurrence, and deliver practical, outcome-focused solutions.
- Delivers projects effectively by translating strategy into action, establishing clear governance, and managing risks to support successful outcomes.

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Project Management, Commerce, or Business Administration (desirable), or relevant equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading stakeholder engagement and communications planning for complex initiatives, operational changes, or customer-impacting projects.
