About the Role
We are seeking a trade qualified Fitter to join our BMU service division in Melbourne to carry out a variety of specialised maintenance inspections, repairs and modifications, installs & upgrades on BMU’s (Building Maintenance Units) throughout the Melbourne CBD.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults
- Perform breakdown repairs to minimise downtime
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth operations
About You
- Trade qualified fitter (or equivalent)
- Drivers Licence,
- Clean police record,
- General Construction Induction (White Card)
- Working at Heights (GDP can organise if not)
- Good mechanical Aptitude
- In depth understanding of OH&S regulations
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Welding experience highly regarded
