What do we do?
The Corporate Finance Team at A&M in Sydney assist clients through providing lead advisory services in raising debt and equity capital, executing bespoke M&A transactions and complex financial restructurings. As part of this team, you be working across multiple different workstreams, including:
Developing and maintaining detailed financial models to support valuation, capital raising, and M&A transactions, including scenario analysis, sensitivity / covenant testing, and forecasting
Create high-quality transaction documentation, including Information Memorandums (IMs), term sheets, teasers, and other supporting materials to effectively communicate investment opportunities to clients and financiers / investors
Contribute to and take carriage of the day-to-day execution of transactions, including managing timelines, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring seamless progress through all stages of the deal process
Facilitate and manage due diligence processes, including responding to investor and client queries (Q&A), coordinating with other external advisors (e.g. legal and transaction diligence), and establish, organise, and manage virtual data rooms

Ensure issues and opportunities are clearly and concisely presented
Set and communicate client’s expectations consistently
Identify risks and obstacles early on, create contingency plans and communicating timely with client
We are seeking:
A relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with a proven record of academic excellence
Internship or up to 2 years professional experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or commercial banks
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with structured thinking
Ability to extract insights from complex or incomplete data sets
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Team-oriented, entrepreneurial, and performance-driven mindset
