Government Shared Services (GSS) provides critical financial and business services to NSW Government agencies. We are seeking motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our Revenue & Debt Management team as Finance Support Officers – Debt.

The role is responsible for the timely, accurate and consistent completion of financial transaction processing and debt management activities, ensuring high-quality customer service and compliance with relevant legislation, policy and procedures.
About the Role
As a Finance Support Officer – Debt, you will:
- Undertake debt management processing activities, including inbound and outbound customer contact.
- Analyse customer invoices, payment arrangements and account information to support effective debt recovery and agency cashflow.
- Monitor and action debt management requests in accordance with service level agreements.
- Provide accurate and timely advice to customers, stakeholders and internal staff on debt management processes.
- Assist with identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems and documentation.
- Support testing of system enhancements and upgrades within financial and corporate systems.
- Contribute to a high-performing team focused on customer service, compliance and continuous improvement.
About You
You will be someone who:
- Has experience in debt collection, accounts receivable, revenue management or a similar finance environment.

Salary Grade 3/4, with the base salary for this role starting at $87199 base plus superannuation
