We are seeking passionate and qualified Diploma Educator Team Leader to join our team and help provide the best early learning experiences for children.
Position Overview:
As a Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educator, you will assist in creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for children. You will collaborate with lead educators to implement Montessori-based educational programs and support children's development across all areas—social, emotional, physical, and cognitive. Montessori knowledge and qualifications are not mandatory, as you will receive mentorship and training to gain Montessori knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality educational programs aligned with Montessori principles and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), planning and structuring learning experiences across both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that supports each child’s individual needs, wellbeing, and development, including monitoring nutritional health, welfare, and safety.
- Design and facilitate a diverse range of activities to promote motor, social, emotional, and language development, utilising storytelling, role play, songs, and group discussions. Observe and assess children’s progress, identifying any signs of ill health, emotional disturbance, or developmental concerns, and document learning and development accordingly.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with children, families, and colleagues, including regular communication and participation in parent interviews and community support programs.
- Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards (NQS) and all relevant child safety and welfare regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow educators to promote a positive team culture, and provide supervision and support to student teachers on placement.
Pay: $77,000.00 – $78,000.00 per year
