Are you creative, community-minded, and passionate about sport? Altona North Cricket Club is seeking an enthusiastic Social Media Manager to help grow our presence and engagement across Facebook, Instagram, and other digital platforms.
You’ll play a key role in promoting club news, match results, events, and community initiatives — helping us connect with players, supporters, sponsors, and the wider Altona North community as we continue our 100-year legacy.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing and scheduling social media content (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
- Creating engaging posts, graphics, and stories to showcase club activities
- Promoting match results, player highlights, and upcoming events
- Coordinating content with the committee and event organisers
- Helping drive community engagement and sponsor recognition
What we’re looking for:
- Strong communication and creativity
- Basic social media and graphic design skills (Canva experience a plus)
- An interest in cricket or local sport
- Availability for a few hours per week
