We are looking for an experienced Onsite Carpenter to join our growing team. This is a full-time position of 38 hours per week, working across residential and commercial installation projects. The role may involve working across multiple job sites throughout the week, depending on project requirements.

The Role
As an Onsite Carpenter, you will be responsible for the installation of Delaco Panels products at customer sites, including acoustic wall panels, exterior panels, cladding and other building products.
You will work independently as well as alongside other team members and trades, ensuring installations are completed safely, accurately and to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will have strong carpentry skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Install Delaco Panels products at residential and commercial job sites.
- Install acoustic wall panels, exterior panels, cladding and associated finishing products.
- Measure, cut and prepare materials accurately for installation.
- Read and interpret measurements, drawings and installation requirements.
- Ensure all installations are completed to a high-quality professional standard.
- Complete finishing work including trims, edges, joins and other details where required.
- Use a range of hand and power tools safely and correctly.
- Prepare job sites and ensure work areas are kept clean, safe and organised.
- Work efficiently to meet project schedules and installation requirements.
- Communicate professionally with customers, builders, designers and other trades onsite.
- Identify and communicate any site issues, access problems or installation concerns before proceeding with work.
- Work across multiple job sites as required.
- Assist with loading, unloading and handling panels and materials when required.
- Follow all company safety procedures, site requirements and WHS regulations.
- Take care of company vehicles, tools, equipment and materials.
- Represent Delaco Panels professionally at all times.
- Provide feedback to the team regarding products, installation processes and potential improvements.
About You

- Is confident using hand and power tools.
- Can accurately measure, cut and install materials.
- Has a strong understanding of construction and building practices.
- Is reliable, punctual and takes responsibility for their work.
- Can work independently and as part of a team.
- Has a professional and friendly manner when dealing with customers.
- Is physically capable of lifting and handling panels and materials.
- Is comfortable travelling to different job sites as required.
- Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn Delaco's products and installation methods.
- Can work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Holds a current driver's licence.
- Has a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Desirable Experience
The following would be highly regarded:
- Carpentry qualification or trade background.
- Experience with wall panelling, cladding or feature wall installations.
- Experience working with acoustic panels.
- Experience with exterior building products.
- Construction or fit-out experience.
- Experience working on residential and commercial projects.
- White Card.
- Own basic hand tools.
