The role
Working from Boundary Hill / Callide Mine, you'll be responsible for servicing and supporting the maintenance of heavy mining equipment.
Your duties will include:
- Carrying out scheduled servicing on heavy mobile plant and mining equipment
- Supporting Diesel Fitters with maintenance and repair activities
- Operating Service Truck undertaking refueling, oil changes, and inspections etc
- Inspecting equipment and reporting faults or damage
- Completing service records and maintenance documentation
- Maintaining workshop housekeeping and safety standards
- Contributing to a safe, productive and team-focused workplace
What you'll need
- Previous experience as a Service Person in a mining environment
- RIISAM212D - Service Mine Plant and Equipment
- Current HR Driver Licence
- Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
Highly regarded:
- RIIVEH307 - Operate Heavy Rigid Vehicle (VOC)
- RIIVEH306 - Operate a Mine Service Vehicle (VOC)
