We are looking for a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator who can take ownership of the daily operation and performance of our wastewater treatment facilities. This is more than monitoring equipment—you will play an essential role in ensuring environmental compliance, maintaining treatment processes, and supporting the continuous delivery of clean and reliable wastewater services.
You will work alongside experienced operators, maintenance technicians, and environmental professionals to ensure plant performance, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance while contributing to the long-term success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Plant Operations: Operate, monitor, and optimize wastewater treatment processes to ensure efficient and compliant plant performance.
Process Monitoring: Monitor SCADA systems, equipment performance, flow rates, and treatment parameters while responding promptly to operational changes.
Equipment Inspections: Perform routine inspections of pumps, motors, valves, tanks, filtration systems, and other plant equipment.
Sampling & Testing: Collect wastewater samples, perform routine water quality testing, maintain accurate records, and support regulatory reporting requirements.
Maintenance Support: Carry out preventative maintenance activities, identify equipment issues early, and coordinate repairs with maintenance personnel.
Environmental Compliance: Ensure all plant operations meet environmental regulations, safety procedures, and company operating standards.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: Previous experience operating wastewater treatment plants, water treatment facilities, industrial process plants, or similar operational environments is highly regarded.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of wastewater treatment processes, pumps, chemical dosing systems, SCADA controls, and mechanical equipment.
Safety Focus: Strong commitment to workplace health, safety, environmental compliance, and operational best practices.
Problem Solving: Ability to identify operational issues, troubleshoot equipment, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain accurate operational records and work effectively within a team.
Mindset: You are dependable, proactive, and take pride in maintaining safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible wastewater treatment operations.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,533.40 per year
