About the Role
The Senior Technical Consultant - D365 Power Platform will be a key contributor within the D365 Power Platform team, working closely with key stakeholders to lead solution delivering projects across the Microsoft Business Applications portfolio, whilst playing a key role in shaping customer opportunities, and translating complex business requirements into innovative, AI-enabled solutions. Success in this position involves taking ownership of solution design while providing governance and oversight of delivery teams to ensure successful customer outcomes and utilising strong consulting and architecture capabilities to support business development and presales activities.
What You'll Do
Lead discovery workshops to understand business requirements and transformation goals, and design end-to-end solutions across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot, and related Microsoft technologies. Develop solution architecture, integration, security, and implementation plans while providing governance throughout the project lifecycle to ensure scalable, secure, and high-quality delivery. Collaborate closely with customers, consultants, and development teams from design through deployment and post-go-live support. Additionally, lead solution demonstrations, proof-of-concept engagements, and presales activities, including opportunity qualification, proposal development, customer presentations, and responses to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders.
What You Need to Succeed
- Minimum 10+ years' experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, including Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Insights, Customer Service, Contact Centre, Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Automate, and AI-powered business solutions.
- Minimum 8+ years' experience in a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Lead Consultant capacity.
- Proven experience designing AI-enabled business solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Agent Builder capabilities, Generative AU, and automation technologies.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, Microsoft Azure services, Dataverse architecture, security models, and application lifecycle management.
- Strong proposal writing and RFP response experience, including requirements analysis, effort estimation, solution design, and commercial considerations.
- Experience managing offshore/onshore development teams and overseeing solution delivery outcomes.
- Microsoft certifications such as PL-600 (Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect), PL-200, PL-400, PL-900, or related certifications highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
