We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de partie to join our kitchen team. The successful canidate will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, presentation and safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee & manage a designated kitchen section (e.g., grill, larder, fryer, pans).
* Prepare & cook menu items in accordance with recipes and presentation standards.
* Ensure all dishes leaving the section meet quality & portion control standards.
* Assist with stock control, ordering & minimising wastage.
* Maintain high levels of cleaniness & organisation in your section.
* Follow food safety & hygiene regulations at all times.
* Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with menu development & daisly specials.
* Train & supervise Commis Chefs & Kitchen hands as required.
* Contribute to a positive & professional kitchen culture.
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 2 - 3 years' experience in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of food safety & HACCP procedures.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent time management & organisational skills
* Strong communication & teamwork abilities.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends & public holidays.
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,256.38 per year
