Quality Assurance Officer (HSEQ)
About Alight Contractors
Alight Contractors Pty Ltd is a privately owned company with over 30 years of experience in the electrical and building industry. We are recognised as a leading electrical contractor for the Australian modular building sector, providing comprehensive end-to-end services — from design and rough-in through to testing, commissioning and final certification.
Our expertise is proven through our work with world-leading modular manufacturers, delivering complex installations destined for Tier 1 mining and resource sites nationwide. We have built specialist capabilities across electrical engineering, dry fire, data and communications — a multi-trade environment where quality and safety are non-negotiable.
The Opportunity
This is primarily a quality assurance role with integrated HSEQ responsibilities. Quality inspections are at the core of what you will do day to day: verifying electrical, data and dryfire installations against ITPs, Australian Standards and client requirements, raising NCRs, and driving corrective actions through to verified close-out.
Alongside the quality function, you will take practical ownership of safety and compliance on site — conducting audits, delivering toolbox talks, managing hazard identification and supporting incident investigations. Reporting directly to management, you will have a high-visibility role where your work drives real outcomes.
