About The Opportunity
Join our dedicated Palliative Care team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families by delivering compassionate, person-centred care at a time when it matters most.
As a Registered Nurse within the Brand New Palliative Care Unit at Wyong Hospital, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients with life-limiting illnesses. Working as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care that supports patients' physical, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual needs while promoting comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
You will collaborate closely with patients, families, carers, and healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care across the patient journey. The role also offers opportunities to contribute to quality improvement initiatives, participate in ongoing professional development, and support a culture of clinical excellence.
We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Registered Nurse with excellent clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills. Experience in palliative care or a strong interest in developing expertise in this specialty is highly valued.

About You
- You have current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- You possess recent clinical experience relevant to Palliative Care and commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice with personal attributes including resilience, integrity and accountability which contribute to a positive workplace culture.
- Understanding of team nursing and demonstrated skills to work effectively and collaboratively as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team.
