The role
The Engineering Technologist will provide technical and operational engineering support across various construction, engineering, and mining-related projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and clients to support project delivery, equipment performance, maintenance coordination, and compliance requirements.
This role may involve travel to various project and client sites across Western Australia.
Key responsibilities
l Provide engineering and technical support for construction and project operations
l Apply engineering techniques to evaluate, design or modify engineering solutions/systems
l Conduct engineering analysis and testing to assess performance and compliance
l Analyse engineering data, technical drawings, specifications, and operational requirements
l Prepare and review technical specifications, engineering drawings and calculations
l Assist in evaluating engineering methods, systems, and operational performance to improve project efficiency and reliability
l Identify technical improvements to construction/maintenance methodologies
l Adapt engineering approaches to resolve site-specific technical challenges
l Assist with project planning, scheduling, implementation, and coordination activities
l Monitor project progress and support continuous improvement initiatives
l Coordinate equipment inspections, maintenance activities, and technical troubleshooting
l Liaise with contractors, suppliers, site personnel, and external stakeholders regarding engineering matters
l Assist in identifying operational risks and implementing practical engineering solutions
l Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards, WHS requirements, and company procedures
l Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and maintenance records
Support quality assurance and operational efficiency across project sites
Pay: $85,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
