Casual | Immediate Start | Ongoing Work
We are currently seeking a Male Disability Support Worker to provide one-on-one support to a male participant in the Gold Coast, QLD area.
This position is suited to a reliable and compassionate support worker who is confident working with male participants and understands the importance of dignity, privacy, choice and person-centred support.
About the role:
- Provide one-on-one disability support
- Assist with daily living and personal care as required
- Support community access and activities
- Encourage independence and participation
- Follow the participant's individual support plan
- Complete clear and accurate shift notes
- Maintain professional boundaries and participant dignity
About you:
- Male Disability Support Worker
- Previous disability or community support experience preferred
- Reliable, patient and respectful
- Confident working independently
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable supporting a male participant with daily living needs
- Available for weekend and flexible shifts
- Gold Coast-based or willing to travel within the area
Requirements:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid & CPR
- Relevant disability support qualification or experience
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Australian working rights
- Driver's licence and reliable vehicle preferred
