About the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH):
As a Grade 1 or Grade 2 Podiatrist, you will provide high-quality podiatry care to adults with complex foot health needs, with a strong focus on lower limb neurovascular conditions and diabetic foot management. Working across acute hospital and community-based settings, you will support patients to prevent complications, promote healing, and maintain independence.
The Podiatry and Diabetic Foot Unit provides services across The Royal Melbourne Hospital’s City and Royal Park campuses, as well as community settings through partnered services. You will work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care, while benefiting from a supportive team environment that values supervision, professional development, and continuous quality improvement.
About the role:

Assess and manage adult podiatry patients with complex foot and lower limb conditions

Deliver evidence-based care for people with diabetes-related foot disease

Work across inpatient, outpatient and community settings

Contribute to multidisciplinary Diabetic Foot Unit clinics

Participate in supervision, professional development and quality improvement activities
About you:

Registration as a Podiatrist with relevant clinical experience

Sound knowledge of lower limb neurovascular and diabetic foot conditions

Ability to work across acute and community healthcare environments
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Commitment to learning, supervision and continuous improvement
