Primary objective
Lead the planning, development and delivery of change management, training and business readiness activities supporting the
implementation of the TechnologyOne Supply Chain System across NT Health. Provide leadership to the project training function to
ensure staff are equipped with the knowledge, skills and resources required to successfully adopt new procurement, inventory,
warehouse and catalogue management processes.
Context statement
NT Health is implementing the TechnologyOne Supply Chain System across metropolitan and remote health services to modernise
procurement, inventory management, warehousing and catalogue governance.
The position works closely with business stakeholders, regional health services, DCDD Learning and Development, TechnologyOne
consultants, ICT teams and operational managers to support organisational readiness, stakeholder engagement and successful system
adoption.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of the project training strategy, learning framework and organisational change activities.
2. Manage and mentor the Senior Training Officer, allocating work priorities and ensuring consistent delivery of learning resources and
training programs.
3. Lead stakeholder engagement activities including workshops, working groups, communication strategies and business readiness
assessments.
4. Oversee development of training documentation, Standard Operating Procedures, MyLearning content, facilitator guides and user
resources.
5. Monitor training effectiveness, user adoption and organisational readiness through reporting, evaluation and continuous
improvement activities.
6. Contribute to project governance by preparing reports, managing risks, supporting go-live activities and representing the project on
committees and working groups.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Demonstrated experience leading organisational change, business readiness, stakeholder engagement or training initiatives within a
complex operational or project environment.
2. Proven ability to develop, implement and evaluate training, communication and adoption strategies that support successful business
outcomes.
3. Highly developed interpersonal, consultation and influencing skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across diverse
stakeholder groups.
4. Demonstrated experience leading teams, coordinating competing priorities and delivering outcomes within agreed timeframes.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to use performance data to identify risks, measure outcomes and
drive continuous improvement.
6. High-level written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing reports, business documentation, presentations
and communications for varied audiences.
Desirable
1. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
2. Experience implementing TechnologyOne or other ERP systems.
