About the Role
In this role, you will be the welcoming face for children and families, creating meaningful daily interactions that build trust and connection. You will support enrolments, centre tours, and onboarding, ensuring families feel informed, valued, and confident in their decision to join the service.
You will keep systems, documentation, and accounts well organised, while overseeing and streamlining administrative operations to ensure the office runs efficiently and supports the smooth day-to-day functioning of the centre. Working closely with the Centre Director and team, you will be the calm, friendly, and reliable go-to person who helps maintain a positive and organised environment.
A key part of your role will involve maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the Childcare Subsidy Management Platform, ensuring correct CCS entitlements are applied, and identifying opportunities to support families with additional care options where appropriate. You will also oversee account management and debt recovery processes to maintain financial integrity and support the overall financial health of the service.
In addition, you will conduct centre tours with professionalism and enthusiasm, showcasing Harmony’s philosophy, environment, and key offerings to prospective families. You will also administer the waitlist system, ensuring transparent, fair, and well-organised processes for managing and prioritising prospective enrolments.
About You

You bring:

Cert III, Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood (or studying)

Experience in customer service, administration / early childhood setting

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

The ability to multitask and stay steady in a fast-paced environment

A commitment to child and cultural safety

A friendly professional presence that builds immediate trust
