All Hallows’ School, a Catholic Mercy school for girls from Years 5–12, seeks to appoint an Administrative Assistant Pastoral Care to join our Community.
The Administrative Assistant Pastoral Care is a welcoming and supportive member of the Wellbeing Centre reception area, offering assistance to the Pastoral team and the Health and Wellness team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive, proactive administrative support to the Dean of Student Wellbeing and Head of Pastoral Care ensuring efficient and professional workflows.
Provide administrative support to the Head of Health and Wellness and Heads of House when directed by the Administration Services Manager, contributing to the smooth operation of the Pastoral and Wellbeing Teams.
Act as a point of contact welcoming students and effectively triaging those seeking health, counselling, or pastoral care support.
Maintain and continually improve file structures and records systems following established routines, methods, and procedures.
Input, extract, and manage data within school systems (e.g. TASS), ensuring a high level of data integrity and accuracy.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, contributing to effective communication and a collaborative, supportive team environment.
Maintain strict confidentiality and privacy in the handling of student, family and staff information, in accordance with the Queensland Child Safe Standards, school policies and relevant privacy obligations.
Role Requirements
Hold and maintain a current Queensland Working with Children Clearance (Blue Card).
Have approval to work in Australia.
Have or maintain the appropriate clearances, qualifications or registrations required to perform the inherent functions of the role.
