Lead regional engagement for multicultural and multifaith Victorians
We are seeking an outstanding leader to join our leadership team as Multicultural Victoria’s Deputy Coordinator-General, Regional Victoria.
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving major priorities for multicultural and multifaith communities, meaningful engagement and delivering outcomes that make a difference for communities across Victoria.
This is a leadership position in Multicultural Victoria, a proposed new entity that will bring together community engagement, policy and program delivery for communities.
The Deputy Coordinator-General – Regional will work closely with the Coordinator-General to provide strategic leadership across a broad portfolio of projects, programs and policy initiatives to benefit multicultural and multifaith communities.
About you
You are a highly respected leader with extensive experience working across complex environments and delivering outcomes that matter to communities.
You will bring:

extensive connections within Victoria's multicultural and multifaith communities, and an ability to represent various viewpoints without bias.

significant leadership experience in regional development, infrastructure, economic development, planning, government or a related field

a deep understanding of regional Victoria's opportunities, challenges and stakeholder landscape

proven success delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects and programs

outstanding relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills

strong strategic thinking, judgement and problem-solving capability

a track record of leading high-performing teams through change and complexity
