Security Officer – Part-Time

We are currently seeking professional and reliable Night Retail Security Officer to join our team at Chatswood, NSW. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable organisation that values professionalism, safety, and service excellence.
About the Role
As a Night Retail Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while delivering a high standard of customer service. This role involves a mix of patrols, incident response, and client-facing duties.
Positions available: Part-time position
Award Level 2
Shifts: Weekday and weekend | Day and night shifts
Roste:
Thursday: 21:30pm to 07:30am
Friday: 20:30pm to 07:30am
Saturday: 21:00pm to 07:00am
Key Responsibilities

Conduct patrols to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets

Provide a professional and approachable security presence

Respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance

Identify and assess risks, taking appropriate action in line with procedures

Adhere to all site and company security protocols

Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records
-
Securing and locking up the centre, conducting regular patrols, and carrying out compliance audits.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

A valid Security Licence
-
Current First Aid and CPR certification
-
Previous security experience (retail/shopping centre experience highly regarded)

Availability to workday/night and weekday/weekend shifts

Good physical fitness, as patrols/roving are required

Ability to work independently and follow procedures

Strong attention to detail
