INTRODUCTION : As a Butchery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in preparing products for sale, and ensuring a seamless customer experience at our Shop
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers and assist them in selecting products, providing detailed information about cuts, preparation methods, and pricing as required .
- Process customer transactions accurately using Eftpos systems and handle cash payments
- Prepare and create products for sale in the shop & markets as directed
- Uphold hygiene and food safety standards as per safefood & regulatory guidelines, including proper handling and storage of meat & seafood products.
- Deal with Customers, Suppliers and other Team Members professionally at all times
EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in a Meat or Seafood retail preperation and sales
- Strong knowledge of different meat cuts & seafood products, cooking methods, and food safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
