Your new role:
In this permanent full-time leadership position within the Women's and Children's Service Line at Logan Hospital, you will provide contemporary operational and professional nursing and midwifery leadership across Logan and Beaudesert services by:
Leading clinical and corporate governance frameworks to ensure safe, high-quality, and person-centred care delivery
Overseeing operational performance, workforce capability, and resource management across complex maternity and paediatric services
Driving service planning, evaluation, and improvement aligned to organisational and national health benchmarks
Partnering with executive and multidisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based models of care and system-wide improvement
Managing financial, quality, and workforce KPIs including cost centre accountability and Business Planning Framework alignment
Leading change, innovation, and service redesign to improve outcomes for women, children, and families
About you:
With strong senior nursing and/or midwifery leadership experience, you bring advanced clinical governance capability and strategic insight, supported by:
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife
Demonstrated leadership in complex healthcare environments, ideally within maternity or women's and children's services
Strong capability in financial, workforce, and operational management including data analysis and performance improvement
Proven ability to lead change, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice initiatives
Highly developed communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills across multidisciplinary teams
Postgraduate qualifications or current enrolment (desirable) in nursing, midwifery, leadership, or related fields

Logan Hospital:
Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
