The Opportunity
As Group Financial Controller, you’ll oversee the financial operations of the HealthEx Group while partnering with leaders across the business to support growth, performance and sustainable success. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning
- Providing commercial insights and recommendations to support decision-making
- Monitoring business performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Delivering accurate and timely monthly financial reporting
- Maintaining strong financial controls and governance frameworks
- Overseeing cash flow, liquidity and working capital management
- Managing taxation and financial compliance requirements
- Maintaining appropriate insurance and risk protection strategies
- Leading and developing a high-performing finance team

About You
- CA, CPA or equivalent qualification
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline
- Significant Australian experience in relevant finance leadership roles
- Proven experience leading budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting functions
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability
- Advanced MS skills, including Excel, Power Query and Power BI.
- Experience partnering with senior executives and presenting financial insights
- A track record of developing high-performing teams
- A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves when needed
- Most importantly, you’ll be a collaborative leader who enjoys working with people
