- Temporary 7-month role based in Sydney, NSW
About the role
In the role of Associate, Grants Assurance you will support project management activities to help the department meet compliance requirements and deliver policy and grant program initiatives. The role focuses on stakeholder engagement, business support coordination, and requires familiarity with risk and compliance processes. It involves working collaboratively with department and agency stakeholders to achieve regulatory outcomes and priorities.
Some of the key accountabilities of the role include –
- Provide a range of project management and support services, including preparation of reports, advice and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation and implementing and monitoring project plans, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope, in line with established agency project management methodology.
- Support reviews of the legislative compliance of programs and services, and support developing and implementing governance and risk frameworks for the compliance of grant programs and communicate lessons learnt and recommend remedial actions for improving programs, services and other initiatives.
- Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees and consultations to facilitate exchange of information and support project completion in line with project plans.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have –
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Experience providing high level project management and support activities.
- Experience in managing and supporting grant programs; interpreting and supporting policy development; or, experience promoting or building engagement with diverse stakeholders.
