PSCA 2024, General Division Level 3, up to $96,043 gross per annum + super + benefits
This pool recruitment process will be used to fill permanent, fixed term, full time and part time vacancies that may arise over a period of 12 months from the date of finalisation of the recruitment process. Fixed term appointments may be made with the possibility of extension/s and/or permanency.
There are currently three full time vacancies available in the Criminal Law, Early Intervention Services and Business Services Divisions with contracts up to 30 June 2027, with possibility of extensions and/or permanency, subject to business requirements.
Exciting opportunities exists at Legal Aid WA for enthusiastic people with excellent interpersonal, organisational and secretarial skills to provide Executive Assistant support to a Division Director and the senior management teams.
About the role
The Executive Assistant works with the management team in their allocated Division of Legal Aid WA and provides a comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Director and senior staff of the Division. On a day-to-day basis you will manage calendars, email and telephone enquiries, book appointments, undertake word processing duties, make travel arrangements, administer meetings, undertake financial duties and other duties to assist the Division and business units. You will also maintain a high standard of communication and engagement with stakeholders and clients on behalf of the Director and senior members of the Division.
About you
The ideal applicants will possess excellent secretarial and administrative skills, have significant experience using Microsoft Office products and an ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels. You will be comfortable using your initiative to ensure the smooth running of the Division’s workload and priorities, and work well with other members of the Division team and staff at Legal Aid WA, supporting each other as required. An ability to adapt to changing priorities and work with minimal supervision is essential.
