What you'll do:
As the Business Manager, Strategic Alliance - Petsure and Service Providers, you will step into a high-impact strategic leadership role driving the growth, profitability, and delivery of Australia's largest Pet Insurance portfolio alongside key non-underwriting partnerships for Everyday Insurance. Sitting at the intersection of commercial performance and relationship management, you will lead high-value partner interactions, navigate complex contractual frameworks, and unlock new value across our ~$700M premium portfolio. Lead and optimise the strategic alliance with PetSure and key service providers to drive P&L performance, sales growth, and overall EBIT.
Build, maintain, and govern strong collaborative relationships with senior external C-suite stakeholders and internal matrix teams.
Develop, align, and execute comprehensive strategic and tactical partner business plans to achieve continuous portfolio growth.
Maintain an active end-to-end customer product roadmap, addressing pain points to enhance user experience and value propositions.
Oversee contractual governance, ensure partner accountability, track performance metrics, and actively manage contract renewals.
Identify new vendor opportunities, manage onboarding, and lead the integration of external service providers.
What you'll bring:
Experience in stakeholder management, account management, or strategic alliance management within insurance or financial services.
Strong domain knowledge across general insurance operations, including product, claims, underwriting, risk, and regulatory compliance.
Proven ability to analyse financial performance, manage P&L outcomes, and develop compelling business cases for executive buy-in.
Exceptional negotiation, influence, and communication skills with a track record of handling complex C-suite relationships.
Expertise in executing partnership governance frameworks, tracking deliverables, and actively holding partners accountable.
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate matrix organisation structures and drive cross-functional outcomes.
