About your role
As a Supply Planner, you will play a critical role in managing product availability and optimising supply chain processes across our various brands. This position requires proactive collaboration with demand planning teams, commercial teams, and purchasing teams to deliver on inventory targets and support company growth.
Your key responsibilities are:
Planning & Inventory Management
•
Work with demand planning team to align supply plans with forecasted demand.
•
Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock across all product lines, minimising stockouts and excess inventory.
•
Conduct weekly and monthly checks on supply levels, lead times and replenishment schedules to ensure alignment with demand forecasts.
•
Co-ordinate transfer requirements across distribution locations.
•
Actively participate in initiatives to reduce Slow Moving and Obsolete (SLOB) inventory.
•
Provide data and insights to support decision-making on SKU lifecycle management, contributing to a more streamlined and efficient product portfolio.
•
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to rationalise SKUs, identifying and recommending opportunities to consolidate or discontinue underperforming products.
•
Support new product introductions and end of life run downs, ensuring financial risks are identified and mitigated through proactive collaboration.
•
Coordinate with production and purchasing to identify risks to supply.
•
Monitor and adjust supply plans to respond to market changes, demand fluctuations, or supply disruptions.
Data Analysis & Reporting
•
Analyse inventory, production, and sales data to optimise stock levels and improve customer service levels.
•
Provide detailed reports and actionable insights for continuous improvement in planning accuracy.
•
Prepare and present weekly and monthly updates to the Supply Chain Manager, highlighting key metrics such as inventory turns, service levels, lead times, and areas for improvement.
Stakeholder Collaboration
•
Coordinate closely with sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure seamless product availability across all brands.
•
Actively participate in S&OP meetings, sharing supply insights and managing cross-functional expectations.
Process Improvement
•
Implement best practices in planning, using NetSuite and Netstock planning tools to streamline workflows.
•
Support ongoing improvements in inventory management and planning processes.
