About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and safety-focused Warehouse Labourer / Forklift Operator to join our scaffolding yard and warehouse team.
The role involves the day-to-day handling of scaffolding equipment and materials, including operating a forklift, unloading shipping containers, loading and unloading trucks, preparing customer and site orders, and maintaining an organised and safe yard.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who is physically fit, dependable and comfortable working in a busy warehouse and construction supply environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Safely operate forklifts to move, load and unload scaffolding equipment and materials.
· Unload shipping containers containing scaffolding and construction equipment.
· Load and unload trucks for deliveries and returns.
· Pick and prepare scaffolding equipment according to delivery and site requirements.
· Receive returned scaffolding equipment and assist with counting and checking materials.
· Sort, stack and store scaffolding components safely in designated yard and warehouse areas.
· Check incoming and outgoing materials for quantities, damage and general condition.
· Assist drivers with safe and efficient loading and unloading.
· Secure and organise loads to ensure materials are handled safely.
· Perform general warehouse and yard labouring duties.
· Maintain a clean, organised and hazard-free warehouse and yard.
· Assist with stocktakes and inventory counts when required.
· Report damaged, missing or unsafe equipment to the supervisor.
· Follow company procedures, site rules and Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements at all times.
· Perform other reasonable warehouse and yard duties as required.
Requirements
· Current Australian Forklift Licence (High Risk Work Licence – LF).
· Previous forklift, warehouse, yard or construction industry experience preferred.
· Experience loading and unloading trucks is highly regarded.
· Experience unloading shipping containers is an advantage.
· Physically fit and capable of safely performing manual handling duties.
· Able to work outdoors and in warehouse/yard conditions.
· Good understanding of workplace safety.
· Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team.
· Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
· Good communication skills.
· Current Australian driver's licence preferred.
· Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid visa with appropriate work rights in Australia.

Pay: $28.15 – $35.00 per hour
