Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Development Engineer – Back of Ute to join our Aftermarket Product Development team in utility vehicle projects. In this role, you will lead the design, development and engineering of innovative vehicle accessories, including Canopies, Hardlids, Sports Lids, Service Bodies, Trays, Drawers, Tanks and Storage Solutions. driving projects from concept through to production.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure products meet performance, durability, manufacturability and compliance requirements, while also delivering improvements in cost, quality and assembly efficiency.

About You:
- Degree in Engineering, Industrial Design or Product Design
- 7+ years’ experience in product development, design or manufacturing engineering
- Strong experience with CAD (SolidWorks preferred)(Surfacing highly regarded).
- Demonstrated skill in the design of injection moulded parts.
- Background in automotive or 4x4 accessory design (highly regarded).
- Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes and design for production.
- Experience across full product lifecycle and project management.
- Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in mentoring 1 or 2 junior engineers.
