Join Holmesglen’s award-winning Student Recruitment and Admissions team and play a key role in supporting prospective students throughout their enrolment journey.
A newly merged team established in 2026, the Student Recruitment and Admissions team is focused on delivering a positive and streamlined application and enrolment experience. As the Institute’s primary contact point for student enquiries, the team works collaboratively to guide students into suitable courses, identify support needs, and ensure quality outcomes through detailed Pre-Training Reviews (PTRs).
As a Student Recruitment and Admissions Officer, you will play a key role in supporting prospective students from initial enquiry through to enrolment, delivering personalised advice and exceptional customer service. Working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you will help students make informed study choices, contribute to enrolment targets, and support a seamless admissions experience. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with teaching departments and internal stakeholders while making a meaningful impact on the student journey and overall recruitment success.
As a Student Recruitment and Admissions Officer, you will:

Deliver exceptional customer service and support prospective students throughout the enrolment journey

Provide tailored course advice aligned to students’ goals and career aspirations

Manage applications, admissions processes, and student enquiries in a timely manner

Build strong relationships with teaching departments and internal stakeholders

Support recruitment activities and initiatives to drive student enrolments and engagement
To be successful, you’ll have:

Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to provide accurate advice and solutions

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team while remaining adaptable and proactive

Experience using technology and systems such as MS Office, CRM platforms and Student Management Systems, preferably within the education sector.

Qualifications in business, marketing, education, communications, career counselling or a related discipline, or significant relevant experience within the education sector.
WWCC and Police Check:
Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Victorian ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
