Welcome to James Street Vet Hospital, our ASAV Accredited Hospital of Excellence. We have an attractive opportunity for an experienced Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join our high performing team.

Our clients consider us to be the best vet and nursing team in the area, providing the highest standards of care and services to our community. We have four consults, 2 surgical suites, dental suite, fully equipped laboratory and pharmacy, separate dog and cat waiting areas and wards, large treatment room, digital x-ray and dental radiology, ultrasound and more.
This opportunity may also suit an ECC veterinarian looking for a GP role with normal hours.

About the Role
With specific focus on urgent care and surgery, this role is available four days per week 8-6pm with 1:4 Sat but we can offer shorter shifts or flexible part time hours for the right candidate.

About You
-
Veterinarian – BVSc or equivalent – we’re ideally seeking a pre-2020 graduate
-
You enjoy working autonomously while leaning on our internal and external resources

You thrive on patient care, diagnostics and abundant surgery time

You have special interests where we can invest and support your development

You also enjoy team case reviews and mentoring

You value having your own professional standing and respect team collaboration
