We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our Burwood team in a full-time position. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a professional and collaborative environment where your expertise and leadership will make a difference in children’s lives.
Your Role
As an Early Childhood Teacher at Chipmucks in the Woods, you will be responsible for:
- Creating and maintaining a safe, fun, healthy, and effective learning environment.
- Building strong relationships with children, families, carers, and staff.
- Developing and implementing an engaging educational program to achieve quality learning outcomes.
- Mentoring and supporting educators in their professional growth.
- Ensuring compliance with policies, routines, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with Room Leaders to plan and deliver high-quality programming.
What We’re Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor of Education (Birth to 5 Years) qualification.
- Minimum 5+ years experience working in early childhood education and care.
- Demonstrated experience supporting and working with children with additional needs and diverse learning requirements.
- Strong confidence, leadership, and mentoring skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience documenting and evaluating children’s learning outcomes.
- A genuine passion and commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
- Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and National Quality Framework.
- Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training.
- A positive, enthusiastic, and collaborative attitude, with a desire to make a meaningful impact.
Educators who are Educational Leaders and have experience working in centres rated Exceeding NQS or higher are strongly encouraged to apply.
