The Team & Role
The Medical Education Coordinator provides high-level administrative and coordination support to the Medical Education Unit, helping deliver and continuously improve prevocational medical training programs. Working closely with clinical educators and supervisors, the role coordinates education programs, events and logistics, supports governance and accreditation processes, maintains records and data systems, and assists with program evaluation and quality improvement. Acting as a key contact for stakeholders, the position ensures effective communication, accurate record-keeping, and seamless delivery of education activities aligned with national training standards.

Skills & Experience Required
Essential
- Demonstrated experience in administrative, operational or program coordination support, preferably within healthcare, education or a related environment.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and strong customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- High level of digital literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Teams and SharePoint.
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism, discretion and attention to details
- Experience maintaining records, coordinating activities and supporting reporting processes.
Desirable
- Experience supporting medical education, clinical education or professional development programs.
- Understanding of the National Framework for Prevocational Medical Training (NFPMT), PMCV accreditation processes and principles of prevocational medical education.
- Experience supporting accreditation, evaluation, quality improvement or program reporting activities.
Experience maintaining online learning, communication or information management platforms.
