Predominantly based in our Aspley clinic with some work in the Brisbane City office with working remote options.
Part-time position, minimum 2 days per week with the option to build in additional hours as it suits you!
FTE $90-$120k + Bonus structure + Super + up to $1750 CPD Allowance + Paid in-house clinical supervision
We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychologist to support individuals across workplace rehabilitation and health services, including those experiencing persistent pain.
Using a biopsychosocial approach, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to support recovery, improve functioning, and build long-term self-management strategies.
At Axis, you’ll get to flex your clinical skills and connect meaningfully with people, without being stuck in back-to-back sessions with time dedicated for supervision, session preparation and administration.
In this role you will:
Deliver tailored interventions for patients with persistent pain aligned with evidence-based care including cognitive strategies for understanding and managing their pain
Provide 1 on 1 early intervention psychological interventions to employees, aiming to increase self-efficacy and coping skills for a more resilient workforce
Closely consult and collaborate with key stakeholders
Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver outcome-focused, professional, and quality care for Axis clients

You will bring the following:
Interest and passion in the pain psychology/applied health psychology area
Accredited tertiary Psychology qualification and general AHPRA registration
