About the role
MSS Security is seeking Escort Security Officers who hold or are eligible for a Negative Vetting 1 Clearance to join our team at a high-profile data centre in Melbourne.
Sponsorship is available for candidates who do not yet hold a clearance.
Duties include but are not limited to:

Escort and monitor visitors and contractors while they are within security restricted areas.

Ensure all visitors and contractors remain within authorised areas and maintain line of sight.

Verify and confirm visitor identification prior to granting access to secure areas and maintain visitor logs.

Inspect visitor belongings in accordance with site procedures.
-
Challenge and report any unauthorised persons, suspicious behaviour or security breaches in accordance with site procedures.

Report equipment faults in accordance with site procedures.
Requirements:

Must be an Australian Citizen.

Hold or willing to obtain an NV1 Clearance.

Valid Victorian Security Licence.
-
Valid Victorian Drivers Licence.
-
Valid First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willing to obtain).

24/7 Availability to work a rotating roster.
-
Ability to walk up to 15,000 steps per shift as part of routine patrols.

Must be able to supply background information including (but not limited to) referees, past addresses, overseas travel, education etc.
