Contractor Rehabilitation Counsellor – Flexible Locations

We’re seeking experienced Contractor Rehabilitation Counsellors to deliver high-quality vocational rehabilitation services across a range of schemes including workers’ compensation, CTP, and government-funded programs across the following regions:

Lismore / Tweed Heads

Dubbo
About the opportunity:
As a contractor, you’ll enjoy autonomy and flexibility while working with a supportive multidisciplinary team. You’ll provide tailored rehabilitation services to clients experiencing injury, illness, or disability—helping them achieve sustainable return-to-work outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct vocational and psychosocial assessments

Develop and implement individualised return-to-work plans

Provide counselling and support for physical and psychological injuries Liaise with employers, insurers, and health professionals

Maintain accurate case notes and meet compliance standards
What You’ll Bring:
-
Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work or Psychology
-
Full registration with ASORC, AASW or APHRA
-
Considerable experience working in occupational rehabilitation and proven track record of contracting with other clients.

Strong communication and case management skills
-
Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload
-
Full driver's licence and own vehicle
