Quality Control Officer (Full-time)

We are a well-established food manufacturing company based in Carrum Downs. Due to ongoing business growth, we are seeking a full-time Quality Control (QC) Officer to support our product quality control team.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quality Control Officer located in Carrum Downs, VIC. The QC Officer will be responsible for conducting quality checks, analysing products, communicating with relevant teams, using laboratory skills, and ensuring overall quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Inspect and verify raw materials, packaging materials, and monitor the production process.
- Oversee safety, hygiene, and production environment control.
- Conduct sampling, laboratory testing, and product retention; maintain accurate records.
- Apply appropriate testing standards and procedures in the company’s in-house lab.
- Assist with other quality-related tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Science, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Chinese language skills are a plus but not required.
- Experience in quality control processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
- Strong analytical and laboratory skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Familiarity with HACCP and GMP is preferred
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Salary: $55,000 AUD per year
