Are you a highly organised administrator with exceptional coordination skills? We are seeking an MDT Coordinator to support the delivery of Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings at The Wesley Hospital.
This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in facilitating collaborative clinical discussions by coordinating meetings where Radiologists and other specialists review and present patient cases.
About the Role
As the MDT Coordinator, you will be responsible for the end-to-end administration and coordination of MDT meetings. You will work closely with Radiologists, clinicians, and administrative stakeholders to ensure meetings run smoothly and efficiently.
This is a 6-month contract position offering flexibility through a hybrid working model. Due to the nature of MDT meetings, you must be available to attend early morning onsite meetings, including room setup from 6:30am.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule MDT meetings across multiple specialties
- Monitor and manage a dedicated MDT inbox, responding to enquiries and coordinating requests
- Prepare meeting schedules, agendas and supporting documentation
- Liaise with Radiologists, clinicians and administrative teams to ensure cases are submitted and ready for presentation
- Set up meeting rooms and technology prior to meetings commencing
- Attend early morning MDT meetings onsite to ensure smooth meeting delivery
- Coordinate meeting logistics including invitations, attendee management and room bookings
- Maintain accurate records and support documentation throughout the MDT process
- Track actions and support the ongoing administration of MDT activities
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in administration, scheduling, coordination or healthcare support roles
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Confidence working with senior clinicians and healthcare professionals
- Strong Microsoft Office and Outlook skills
- Ability to work independently while managing a structured coordination process
- Flexibility to attend onsite early morning meetings from 6:30am
