We are seeking an experienced Barista/All Rounder to join our team at Bean Bar Bank Street in the CBD. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, is passionate about the food and beverage industry and enjoys working with people. You will play a key role in our energetic team of food and beverage enthusiasts who are driven to provide excellent customer service. You’ll have the opportunity to be part of a fun atmosphere where both customers and employees have a great experience that’s welcoming and engaging.
Barista responsibilities and duties:
- Make and serve specialty coffee and tea beverages
- Good communication skills
- Speak and interact with both new and regular customers
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Adhere to recipe and presentation standards for food and beverage items -- coffees with latte art
- Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance
- Contribute to a positive team environment
- Barista qualifications and skills,
- POS and cash handling
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Right attitude – high energy levels, hardworking, reliable, honest, passionate, always welcoming and smiling to customers
- Ability to work as part of a positive and close knit team as well as thrive independently
- Well presented, strong communication and time management skills
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience preferred
- Immaculate personal presentation
- Can speak English fluently
- Experienced and comfortable working busy shift
