We are looking for a Food Technologist to work within our Product Development Team in Brisbane helping to design and shape the future of food.
Some duties this role will cover include:
- New Product Development and Renovation, including: running process, product and packaging improvement projects; conducting bench and trial sample work; conducting sensory and shelf life evaluation testing; monitoring and reporting yield data, trial findings and efficiencies; material validation and recipe management.
- New Product Implementation & Optimisation including: supporting technical implementation in collaboration with co-manufacturers; attending and support factory trials to ensure all objectives and specifications are met.
Some specifics that we’d like for you to bring to this opportunity include:
- Post graduate qualification in Food Science / Nutrition / Food Engineering or similar
- Excellent technical knowledge including food labelling & legislation; NPD process experience, production and pilot trial experience.
- Experience in plant based protein and / experience in meat (highly desirable)
