Job Description
We are actively looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Health Information Services Clerk. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of Health Information Services, directly supporting patient care through a range of clerical and administrative tasks.

The team operates Monday to Friday undertaking a variety of clerical roles with shifts between the hours of 7.00am and 6.00pm.

Reporting to the Health Information Manager and working under the HIS Clerical Supervisor, you will be part of a highly regarded and supportive clerical team.

Collaborating with a large team of clinical coders, Health Information Officer and Privacy Officer is an integral part of the role.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have the capability to effectively support and meet the needs of a variety of customers, patients and staff.

Be a positive, responsible, self-motivated person with excellent people and telephone skills.

Have a strong focus on detail, highly developed relationship skills, a commitment to customer services, and above all, solid understanding of and commitment to patient confidentiality and privacy.

Undertake duties as part of a team, working collaboratively and sharing roles and responsibilities.

Be able to cope with the physical demands of the role.

Have strong computer skills, including MS office.

Have good written and verbal communication skills.
Remuneration
$35.85 - $39.96 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
