Role description
Dhelkaya Health is seeking a skilled and motivated Grade 2 Podiatrist to join our Ambulatory Care program, delivering high-quality, person-centred podiatry services to our local community.
As a Grade 2 Podiatrist, you will provide comprehensive assessment and management for individuals with a range of foot pathologies within the Dhelkaya Health service catchment. This role focuses on delivering timely, evidence-based interventions that support rehabilitation, improve functional outcomes, and enhance clients' understanding of ongoing foot health.
You will work across multiple care settings including outpatient, inpatient, aged care, and custodial health services, contributing to a coordinated and multidisciplinary model of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred podiatry assessment and treatment
- Provide time-limited interventions focused on rehabilitation and self-management
- Support clients to improve health literacy and understanding of foot health
- Develop and contribute to programs that promote foot health and prevention
- Deliver evidence-based care across outpatient, inpatient, and residential aged care settings
- Participate in custodial health service delivery (as required)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal client outcomes
- Provide education and training to clients, carers, and health professionals
