Lunar Academy is a leading tutoring centre based in Point Cook. As our centre continues to grow, we are looking for enthusiastic, organised, and professional team members to help support our students and their families.
Your role would be one of the first points of contact for families, helping students begin their educational journey with us while ensuring our classes and operations run smoothly.
Our operating hours are outside of typical school hours, with shifts available:
- Weekdays from 4:30 pm onwards
- Weekends throughout the day
Availability for shifts at least two days per week is preferred. This position has room for growth within our company; additional shifts and professional development can be offered.

About the RoleThis position would be located at our Point Cook center and would be closely working with both our internal staff and external clients.
Our new receptionist should reflect our values of professionalism, willingness to take initiative, continuous improvement, and genuine care for students and their families.
Duties include:
- Becoming the first point of contact for prospective and existing clients
- Answering phone calls, emails, and enquiries professionally
- Guiding families through our programs, services, and enrolment process
- Scheduling trial classes, tutoring sessions, and ongoing bookings
- Managing student records and administrative systems, including fees and invoices
- Coordinating class schedules and tutor availability
- Following-up enquiries and assist with student onboarding
- Supporting day-to-day academy operations and administration
- Help create a welcoming and positive experience for students and families
- Maintain the presentation of the centre through basic organisation, cleaning, and tidying tasks
This role involves regular communication with our staff, parents, and students, so strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Essential Requirements
