School hours. Hands on work. A practical role supporting a busy school tuckshop.
Everton Park State School P&C is looking for an Assistant Tuckshop Support Officer to support the day to day operation of the school tuckshop.
This is a hands on role focused on food preparation, kitchen support and service delivery during busy periods. The role will work closely with the Tuckshop Convenor to help maintain a reliable, efficient and well organised service each day.
The position has been proposed to support the continued growth of the tuckshop, including increased in house food preparation, stronger operational coverage and the potential expansion of service days over time.
Regular shifts are:
- Tuesday, approximately 3 hours
- Wednesday, approximately 3 hours
Additional hours may be available during busy periods, leave coverage, school events and school holidays.
What you will do
- Assist with food preparation, cooking and baking
- Support service delivery during busy periods
- Help maintain an organised and efficient kitchen environment
- Assist with stock organisation and kitchen operations
- Support volunteers and contribute to a well functioning team environment
- Maintain food safety, cleaning and hygiene standards
- Assist with continuity of service during staff absences where required
