About the Role
As a Registered Psychologist, you will:
- Conduct psychological assessments and formulate evidence-based treatment plans.
- Deliver individual therapy to children, adolescents and adults.
- Provide support for participants with autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, psychosocial disability, trauma, anxiety, depression and emotional regulation difficulties.
- Work collaboratively with families, support coordinators, schools and other health professionals.
- Prepare high-quality clinical reports, progress reports and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with professional and ethical standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and professional development.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Current General Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
- A client-centred and strengths-based approach.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience working with NDIS participants is highly regarded but not essential.
- Experience working with children, adolescents or adults with disability or mental health presentations is desirable.
Essential Requirements
- Current AHPRA General Registration as a Psychologist.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current NSW Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- National Police Check.
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
- Access to a reliable motor vehicle.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
