Occupational Therapist – Grade 2 or Grade 3 considered
- Full-Time, Fixed-Term till 10th February 2027 | Flexible Hours: Start and finish between 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Role is open to either a Grade 2 or Grade 3 Occupational Therapist
- $88,030 - $101,202 (OT2) or $101k-$116k (OT3) + super + benefits
- We are in the process of implementing our new EBA and adjustments will be backdated to commencement, once implemented.

About the Role:
Forensicare provides specialist mental health services for women at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, including the Marrmak Unit — a 20 bed custodial mental health service — as well as a specialist outpatient service and therapeutic day program.
In this role, you will deliver recovery focused occupational therapy through assessment, intervention and group programs, while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to support women’s functional recovery. You will also contribute to service development, complete high quality clinical documentation, and provide supervision within a secure and dynamic clinical environment.
About You:
You will bring:
- A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and AHPRA registration.
- 5+ years’ experience in mental health or a related field.
- Strong skills in occupational assessment, formulation and evidence based intervention.
- Experience or understanding of secure or forensic environments.
- Excellent communication, teamwork and reflective practice capabilities.
- Commitment to recovery oriented, person centred care and collaborative practice.
What you need:
- Approved degree in Occupational Therapy recognised for membership of Occupational Therapy Australia – Australian Association of Occupational Therapists.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA).
