JT Industries & Co is a local construction business looking for a driven, hardworking young person to take on as a 1st Year Apprentice. Whether you are just finishing school or looking to switch into a proper trade career pathway, this is an opportunity to learn a highly specialized skill from the ground up.
What is Cement Rendering? Cement rendering involves applying a sand and cement mixture to brick and concrete walls to create a smooth, durable finish.
How the Apprenticeship Works: You have to earn your way onto the tools. You will start at the bottom, and it will be physically demanding. Your first few months will involve:
- Carrying and lifting 20kg bags.
- Mixing materials and keeping the site running smoothly.
- Working outdoors and being on your feet all day.
No Experience Required: You don't need to know how to render yet that’s what we are here to teach you. All training, supervision, and strict safety inductions are provided. We are looking for someone with:
- A genuine desire to learn the trade and become a qualified professional.
- A strong work ethic and the physical fitness to handle the labouring side.
- Punctuality and reliability (early starts are non-negotiable).
- Your own reliable vehicle to get to varying sites or currently getting you drivers licence.
