We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced, detailed, and operationally minded Finance Officer to join our team to support our Income Audit and Accounts Payable function.
Key Responsibilities
As our Finance Officer you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Finance department and support the Assistant Director of Finance and Director of Finance.
As our Finance Officer you will approach all tasks with a high level of detail and in a timely nature, and these tasks may include:

accurately process payments to debtor accounts
-
complete reconciliations
-
process or issue invoices and request payments
-
respond to suppliers and customers
-
maintain general ledgers and month-end journals
-
prepare monthly and ad hoc reports to meet submission datelines.
- ensure internal controls and complete self-audits
-
handle and resolve various daily operational issues and queries
- ensure quality, efficiency and consistency in the delivery of routine work within the department.
Qualifications & Skills
To be successful in the role you will have experience in a similar role, preferably in a Hotel environment as well as the following key attributes:

Exceptional business and numerical acumen

Good working knowledge of hotel operations

Superior communication skills
-
Excellent working knowledge of financial systems (SunSystems and Opera highly desirable)

Extremely organised with an excellent attention to detail
-
Tertiary qualifications and or equivalent hotel experience
